So how do you know if we're a good fit? Knowing what happens next can help. Here's what to expect when you decide to buy a home with me:

Prep Time


There's a lot you can do before we really start the home buying process. First and foremost: get pre-approved. A lender will look at your income, employment history, debts, assets, down payment, and credit history to assess what kind of loan to provide you with. It's a great way to know exactly how much you can spend on your dream home. I can recommend a trusted mortgage broker if you aren't already connected with one.

Make a Wish(List)


What are your should-haves, can't-live-withouts, and no-ways? Think about the neighbourhood, lifestyle, and style of home you see for yourself. Not sure? No problem. I can tell you all about the condos, townhouse, duplexes, and detached homes across Vancouver to give you a better idea of what you really want.

Let's Get Together


After you've made it through the preparation stage, we can really get started! Spending one-on-one time with my clients is incredibly important to me, so let's get to know each a bit more. We can grab a coffee or check out a neighbourhood you love while I answer any questions you have about the home buying process and we further discuss what you're looking for.

The Thrill of the Hunt


Let's get looking! I'll send you instant listings of the best properties in your desired area that match your wish list. Once you see a home you're interested in, I'll set up a showing so that we can walk through it together. I'll always keep you updated on any price changes, recent sales, and exclusive listings that you should know about.

Making an Offer


Finding a home you love is an exciting feeling! Which is why making a solid, well-presented offer is so important. By assessing the area's past sales and the home's history, I'll help you determine a fair offer price for the home. We'll also discuss the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and review any clauses or conditions that you'd like to include.

Getting Accepted and Meeting Conditions


There's nothing like hearing those magic words, "Your offer has been accepted!" As a real estate agent, it's one of my favourite messages to deliver. After acceptance, your deposit will be dropped off to the listing brokerage if it wasn't presented with your offer. From there, we'll ensure that all of your conditions are met within the agreed upon timeframe.

Closing and Moving


It's closing time, which means that the property is almost officially yours! Once you've met with your lawyer to coordinate funds and sign the final documents, the keys will be in your hands. Even if you aren't planning on moving in on the closing date, it's a good idea to check out the house to make sure that it's met the required conditions.
